Abigail has been carefully designed for maximum efficiency. Insulation in all the walls, ceiling and eaves ensures a pleasant and consistent environment inside the home, year-round. In the depths of winter, when outside temperatures fall below 0°C, the house remains consistently above 17°C, with no heating assistance required. In summer, it maintains a comfortable 25°C with no assisted air cooling. In addition to a good insulation plan, all gaps around the windows and doors internally and externally are sealed. The double-glazed windows through the home are further protected with the use of block out blinds and sheer curtains.
